Detroit Tigers call up reliever Burch Smith; send lefty Enmanuel De Jesus to Toledo

Detroit — The Tigers Wednesday selected the contract of right-handed reliever Burch Smith from Triple-A Toledo.

He is expected to replace lefty Enmanuel De Jesus, who will be optioned to Toledo.

There will also be a corresponding move on the 40-man roster.
