📋 Dreaming of the G-7, Atlético-MG line up to host Fortaleza

Atlético-MG hosts Fortaleza at Arena MRV at 8:30 PM (Brasília time) this Wednesday (12th), in a postponed match of the 16th round of the Brasileirão. 

With an unbeaten streak of four rounds (three wins and one draw), Galo is in ninth place with 43 points and wants to close the gap to the G-7 (Fluminense – 51 points).

For Leão do Pici, on the other hand, the fight is different. The team is in the penultimate position with 30 points and desperately needs to win again, after three consecutive draws, to not fall behind Vitória (16th place with 35 points).

Regarding the last game (2 x 2 with Grêmio), coach Martín Palermo opted for the inclusion of Lucas Gazal, Herrera, and Deyverson in place of Brítez, Pochettino, and Bareiro, respectively, in Fortaleza.

Meanwhile, at Atlético-MG, coming off a 4 x 2 win over Sport, coach Jorge Sampaoli chose to place Ruan, Alexsander, Saravia, Bernard, Dudu, Arana, and Hulk in the spots of Román, Alonso, Natanael, Alan Franco, Fausto Vera, Caio Paulista, and Biel, respectively.
