Inside DeChambeau’s partnership with Kalshi

Kalshi has announced plans for Bryson DeChambeau to feature in a range of promotional activities, including television adverts, social media campaigns, and live events, running through to 2026.

The company also intends to launch bespoke markets linked to golf tournaments where DeChambeau is playing, covering everything from his performance to his off-course appearances.

It’s Kalshi’s first deal with an individual athlete, marking a shift from its previous focus on media and sports partnerships to personal endorsements.

The company says golf is one of its fastest-growing areas, with more than $450 million in trading volume across the sport last year.

Financial terms haven’t been disclosed, but the partnership is expected to last through the current LIV Golf season.

DeChambeau said he was attracted by Kalshi’s analytics-driven approach and its potential to make fan engagement in golf more interactive.

Donald Trump Jr.’s connection to Kalshi

Bryson DeChambeau’s partnership with Kalshi also links him to Donald Trump Jr., who acts as a strategic adviser to Kalshi.

Trump Jr.’s involvement has raised eyebrows, especially given the platform’s ongoing legal and regulatory challenges in the United States.

Kalshi has faced questions over how its products are classified, but continues to grow its presence in the sports world.

DeChambeau’s history of backing innovative ventures—like his early deals with DraftKings, involvement in NFT projects, and participation in cryptocurrency events—aligns with the move.

Despite the controversy, both Kalshi and DeChambeau are presenting the partnership as a step forward in using predictive technology to enhance how fans connect with sport.
