FIRST TEAM
Angelina Baronci, C, Wellington junior: Baronci had a breakout season for the state-champion Wolverines, leading the team with a .427 batting average with 11 extra-base hits and a pair of home runs. She posted a 1.088 OPS.
Sam Basen, IF, Jupiter junior: Basen was a triples machine, hitting eight three-baggers with a .466 batting average. She also had a .616 on-base percentage with a 1.409 OPS.
Erryn Lowe, IF, Wellington senior: Lowe was a premier hitter, batting .351 with a .977 OPS. She tied for the Wellington team lead with four home runs.
Kaylee Riles, UTIL, Wellington senior: Riles finished her strong Wellington career with a .347 batting average with three home runs and a 1.052 OPS.
Victoria Scott, OF, Palm Beach Gardens senior: Scott was the Gators’ top hitter, batting .446 with six extra-base hits and 26 RBIS. She had a 1.049 OPS.
Sasha Seidel, P, Jupiter junior: Seidel was a two-way star for the Warriors, leading the team with a .479 batting average and 13 extra-base hits. She also dominated in the pitcher’s circle, going 19-4 with a 0.96 ERA and 210 strikeouts in 138 innings.
Shea Towns, P, Palm Beach Gardens sophomore: Towns excelled in the circle and as a hitter. She pitched 96 1/3 innings and posted a 1.38 ERA, striking out 121 batters in 96 1/3 innings. At the plate, she hit .321 with a pair of home runs.
Araya Brunner, IF, West Boca Raton junior: Brunner led the Bulls with a .426 average and notched a 1.114 OPS.
Hannah Durante, IF, Park Vista senior: Durante was the Cobras’ top power hitter, launching four home runs while posting a .413 batting average and a 1.201 OPS. She also stole eight bases.
Alaina George, C, Spanish River senior: George was limited this year but excelled when she was on the field, hitting .478 with nine RBIs and a 1.129 OPS.
Madison Luft, OF, West Boca Raton junior: Luft was a threat in the batter’s box, hitting over .400 for the third straight season. She hit .429
with two home runs and 14 RBIs, notching a 1.091 OPS.
Angeline Mergen, P, Park Vista junior: Mergen went 12-6 with a 2.92 ERA and five complete games, striking out 98 batters in 105 1/3 innings. She also hit .438 with two home runs and six triples, notching a 1.250 OPS while adding 14 stolen bases.
Giselle Portanova, P, Spanish River senior: Portanova was the Sharks’ top player, hitting .441 with two home runs and 22 RBIs while also notching a 2.18 ERA and 113 strikeouts in 16 games in the circle.
Katie Ristau, C, Park Vista senior: Ristau had a breakout season as a senior, hitting .446 with nine RBIs and 16 runs. She had a .994 OPS and 11 steals.
