AND THESE YOUNG MEN ON THE FOOTBALL TEAM, THESE YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN ON THE BAND AND DANCE TEAM, ALL OF THEM HAVE PUT IN THE HARD WORK NECESSARY TO GET TO THE PLACE THEY ARE RIGHT NOW. WE’RE GOING TO SUPPORT BOGALUSA. POLICE SAY THE 15 YEAR OLD KILLED WAS ONE OF THE THREE PEOPLE EXCHANGING GUNFIRE OUTSIDE THE STADIUM. ALL OF WHICH THE BOGALUSA MAYOR SAYS WERE FROM OUT OF TOWN. SHE WAS ALSO AT THE GAME TRYING TO GET AWAY FROM THE GUNFIRE. WE ARE ALL OUTRAGED AND DISGUSTED AND I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO ANGERED IN MY LIFE THAT SOMEONE WOULD TAKE SUCH WHEN WE HAD FOOTBALL BRINGS US ALL TOGETHER. WE’RE A SMALL COMMUNITY. WE’RE WINNING EVERYBODY IN THE COMMUNITY IS COMING TOGETHER AND WE CAN’T LET THESE PEOPLE TEAR US APART. The Bogalusa Police Department said a 15-year-old was shot and killed outside of a football game on Friday night. Officers report that approximately 18 to 20 shots were fired and that there were three people exchanging gunfire. One of them was the victim. The shooting happened outside of the Bogalusa football stadium during a matchup between Bogalusa High School and Jewel Sumner High School.The police chief told WDSU the victim was initially taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he later died. According to a post on the City of Bogalusa’s Facebook page, the situation was quickly under control because of the strong police presence at the game.This is a developing story.

The Bogalusa Police Department said a 15-year-old was shot and killed outside of a football game on Friday night.
