Overnight fire in Mitchellville engulfs ‘Sharon’s Treasures’ auction site
Firefighters worked throughout the early morning hours on Sunday to put out a fire in Mitchellville. Flames engulfed ‘Sharon’s Treasures,’ an auction site, just before 2 a.m. Everybody inside was able to make it out safely. Mitchellville police say the fire spread quickly causing minimal damage to surrounding buildings including the Mitchellville Public library.Crews were out fighting the flames throughout the morning, dealing with hot spots.
