Police are investigating after multiple homicide victims were found inside a Milwaukee home.The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office said the victims were found about 11:45 a.m. Wednesday.Investigators said the scene was near South 49th Street and West Oklahoma Avenue. But he wasn’t specific. They asked my neighbor, Lynne here, if she had heard gunshots. And then they asked the neighbor next to me, on the other side if they had security cameras. So they were looking for any kind of information they could get,” neighbor Charlie Radtke said.A man told WISN 12 off-camera he was the one that called for the welfare check on his sister. He said he had not heard from her, and she didn’t show up to work that morning. He said he knocked on the door and windows and no one answered, so he called 911.Milwaukee Office of Violence Prevention director Arnitta Holliman told WISN 12 all homicides scenes are difficult, but this one made her more emotional.”No one should have to worry about being harmed in a place where they should be safe,” she said. “People should be safe in their homes, in their relationships, in their neighborhoods, wherever they are.”As of Tuesday, Milwaukee crime statistics show 180 homicides so far this year.Anyone with information on the investigation was asked to call Milwaukee police at 414-935-7360 or to remain anonymous contact, Crime Stoppers at 414-224-TIPS or use the P3 tips app.WISN 12 knocked on the neighbor’s door inside the duplex but no one answered.
