Franklin-Smith is thankful to the Guthrie Police.”It was heartbreaking, but it was smooth,” he said. “They kept us abreast of everything, so they kept us in the know as much as they could.”Both Franklin-Smith and the victim’s daughter, Raychelle Wilson, had strong words for the man who is now in police custody on homicide charges. Brent Mack worked as an installer for the suspect’s septic tank company. KOCO 5 has chosen not to release the suspect’s name at this time because formal charges have not been filed.”He took somebody who was loved and was trying to get on the right path and be there for his grandkids,” Wilson said.The man arrested in this case is expected to be formally charged on Monday in Logan County. “You took my brother, you took their dad, you took an uncle, cousins, you didn’t get away with it. So, you will pay the ultimate price,” Franklin-Smith said.
