Firefighters pour water on smoking tree embers Friday after a grass fire spread into about 20 acres of trees at Bloomington-Normal Water Reclamation District land 4 miles southwest of Bloomington. Firefighters from Bloomington Township, Dale Township, Downs, Randolph Township, McLean, Heyworth and Mount Hope Township battled the blaze for about two hours in the area set aside as a forest preserve. Officials were unsure how many trees were affected by the blaze. Cause of the fire is unknown.
