China calls on Britain to maintain ‘normal’ cooperation during virus outbreak

BEIJING (Reuters) – China’s top diplomat Yang Jiechi called on Britain on Tuesday to maintain “normal cooperation and exchanges” with China during the outbreak of the new coronavirus, China’s Foreign Ministry said, as some countries restrict the entry of Chinese visitors.

Yang made the comments in a call with Britain’s national security adviser Mark Sedwill, the ministry added.
